Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one set of economic data that can be used to evaluate the economic development performance of a region (province and district / city). This data tool can also be used for other purposes and purposes, such as the basis for developing economic models in order to formulate policy formulations, velocity of money, financial deepening, tax determination, export studies and imports and so on.According to macroeconomic theory, the calculation of GDP can be done through three approaches, namely: the production / supply approach (GDP according to the field of industry / industry), the approach of final expenditure / demand (GDP according to expenditure) and the income approach (GDP according to income) . The three calculation approaches in theory will produce the same GDP number.This publication specifically discusses GRDP according to the final expenditure / demand approach. This approach is broken down into several components, namely: Household Consumption Expenditures, Non-Profit Institution Expenditures that Serve Households, Government Consumption Expenditures, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Changes in Inventory), Foreign Exports, Overseas Imports, and Net Exports Inter-regional (exports between regions are reduced by imports between regions). GRDP data in this publication and subsequent publications use the 2010 base year, and have implemented the 2008 System of National Accounts concept as recommended by the United Nations.
