2025 SUPAS Officer Training for BPS Yahukimo Regency

On May 26–28, 2025, BPS Yahukimo Regency held the 2025 Intercensal Population Survey Officer Training (SUPAS) at the Yahukimo Inn Hotel. This activity was carried out to equip officers with the knowledge and technical skills in collecting population data accurately and with quality.

As one of the largest demographic surveys, SUPAS is the main source of data on births, deaths, and migration—three important components used in population projections, calculating life expectancy, and child and adult survival.

Through this training, officers are expected to be able to produce reliable data to compile important indicators such as the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and a comprehensive picture of the dynamics of the Indonesian population down to the district/city level.
